PRR Class B60 Baggage Express Car (Modern Doors)

Historic HO gauge model steam train baggage car kit representing the Pennsylvania Railroad--the "Standard Railroad of the United States." This equipment, introduced in the late 1920's, complemented the B60 Baggage Car(Original Doors)introduced about 10 years earlier. This equipment would serve in passenger train consists systemwide until the advent of B60a baggage equipment in the mid 1930's. A certain number of these cars were retained beyond the 1930's and were utilized in crack, high-speed all mail and express trains servicing the Northeast Corridor between Pennsylvania Station/New York, 30th Street Station/Philadelphia, Baltimore and Union Station/Washington, D.C.
